.3.5.2 Ccmtmctot" s detail specification num» ber. A separate and distinct specification number shall be given to each basic detail specifleation or modification thereof.
3. 5 .3 Contractor- s detail specification. The detail specification shall be separate and complete for each · contractor's basic model of aircraft offered. Sheets or appenD dixes indicating changes from a basic deD tail specification will not be acceptable as a detail specification of the model offered. In. tbe event that optional arrangements. not affecting the performance guaranties are offered, they may be submitted as appenD dixes to the applicable detail specification.
3.5.4 Binding. Each of the. copies of the detail specification, together with all appenD dixes, shall be bound under one cover, preD ferably of the loose leaf binder style so tbat revision pages may be inserted. The final specification which is furnished at the end of the contract however, may be furnjsbed · with a different type of binder cover.
3.6 Air Force model designation. When the Air Force model designation of an airD craft is changed, such as C-40 to C-40A, a completely revised detail specification shall be furnished, and amendments or appenD dixes are not acceptable. The contractor shall assign a new number for each speciD fication and a suffixed revision letter to the final corrected copy.
